We had a discussion the other day about booklets on one of the Tier 2 calls and I was telling them about elance for editing. For your booklet, did you go through them or was that part of the package with Paulette?

Asked of Billy Simms by Meggin | 12/2/07

Response (from Billy):

I didn’t use elance for editing my booklet. I just hired Paulette to do it. The cost for hiring Paulette was $397. I found a person on elance who I use to edit my articles.

Response (from Meggin):

If any of you find someone on elance who you use to edit your booklets, please let the rest of us know (or at least let me know and I’ll post it). We’re just trying to get a sense of who is available.

I used Sue Vaughn, one of our members, to do my editing. Not sure if she wants to do anyone else’s, but she did well for me.

Annena, one of our newest members, used one of Paulette’s recommendations and was VERY pleased with the service that she got. She said her editor was quite responsive and kept her “voice” in her booklet. She paid around $450.
