Life Of E's

Krista Green, recent speaker at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference of Professional Organizers, where I was also a speaker, provided the opening keynote.  One of the first ideas she shared was this one:

“Weed your own garden before advertising your services as a landscaper.” 

Is that brilliant or what?  I love that…and although we’ve all heard a version of this sentiment, this one just stayed with me. 

Is there anything you’re ‘advertising’ – maybe too soon?  Or, are you like me in believing that ‘we teach what we most need to know’?  People often think I must have it all ‘together.’  HA!  All you need to do is ask my husband or my assistants…they’ll tell you that, although I might be weeding my garden, it’s hardly weed free!
