30 Articles in Just 30 Days – Suggestion for Mac Users

Posted on October 25th, 2009, by Meggin McIntosh, Ph.D.

Two more tools I find useful that are Mac-specific are

1. Scrivener – a writing/storyboarding software that allows you to organize writing projects, as well as notes and reference material in one “package” – for example, I have a “card” per chapter for a football story I’m writing for my nephew, with a Wiki page on football positions, and a picture of Adley attached.

This is the website: http://www.literatureandlatte.com/scrivener.html

2. Novamind has nice mind-mapping software for Mac – it’s a little pricey for something I won’t use constantly, but I found it really helpful in the demo form, so I may go ahead and buy it. I like the interface and the smooth way it works.  http://www.novamind.com/

Have a great weekend,

Beverly
