Pay Attention to What Makes You Feel Great!

Kathleen Hall, author of Alter Your Life – Overbooked, Overworked, Overwhelmed says, “Whenever you do something that makes you feel great, that releases energy, you have tapped in to what you should be doing.”  As a way of thinking about what makes you feel great and releases your energy, do this exercise:  Down the left-hand side of a page, write

  • Who?
  • What?
  • When?
  • Where?
  • Why?, and
  • How?

Next to those prompts, write answers considering your energy boosters. For example, ‘Where are those particular places that boost your energy?’ ‘When do you notice yourself being energized?’ ‘What are you doing?’ ‘How is it energizing to you?’ and so forth.
