Overwhelmed? See Time As Plentiful Vs Scarce
If you are looking for ways to diminish overwhelm, try changing the way you ‘see’ time. How do you view time at this juncture? Consider each of the following words/phrases and see if any of these sound familiar to you in terms of your viewpoint, particularly if you are in ‘overwhelm.’
- There’s never enough time.
- Time is the enemy.
- I wish I had more time.
- Every second of my time is scheduled.
- Time will run out for me.
- I lose track and then I’m out of time.
How does it feel just reading these? Ugh.
…Time is amazingly fair and forgiving. No matter how much time you’ve wasted in the past, you still have an entire tomorrow. ~ Denis Waitley
In tomorrow’s post, I’ll offer suggestions for how you can ‘reframe’ your view of time.
