Formatting Utility that Works Great for Formatting Plain Text

Posted on December 21st, 2008, by Meggin McIntosh, Ph.D.

Earlier this year when I taught a teleseminar/webinar series on “Teaching & Reaching/Learning & Earning with Cool Tools” (and another on using KickStartCart, the shopping cart system that I use), we talked about using the Broadcast and AutoResponder functions in a shopping cart.

One of the frustrations I’ve had is that when something is sent in Plain Text, if the message goes all the way across the page, it’s difficult to read. I’ve tried putting in hard breaks and all kinds of other tricks, but it never worked great.

Lisa, productivity assistant deluxe, contacted KickStartCart (they have great tech support) and they suggested using a utility (that is free) and I just tried it today for the first time and wanted to pass the info along:

Give it a try. It’s quite nifty, whether you’re using KickStartCart or just need to format some plain text email.

P.S. If you decide to try out KickStartCart, I would appreciate it if you would sign up through my affiliate link. Remember, you pay the same regardless. You can always try out their 30-day free trial.

Thanks!
