Insurance for Entrepreneurs

Question from member – and it’s her first post!!
One stumbling block I’ve had with starting my own consulting organization is purchasing health insurance at a reasonable cost for me and my family (husband and two young children). Does anyone have any recommendations on good websites and/or companies to use to research this?

Great question, Kris. I’m anxious to see what others are doing. I ‘retired’ from the University and so was able to keep my insurance at a cost of about $5000/year…but at least I could keep it. Let’s see what else all of us can come up with on this.
