What’s type of speaker/microphone set up should I purchase–I need something portable yet powerful (and not super expensive).

I checked with my AV person from UNR because even though I’m not at the University any longer, he still takes care of my questions and handles things when I’m presenting at the U…so he got this question and answered it with this (especially because I had just been there 3 weeks ago and knew I’d used a very small and nifty set up):

That speaker system was a Fender P10-W. It comes with a Handheld Mic only.

There’s another unit that’s a Fender P10WE. That comes with a Lavaliere only. If you want both you have to order one or the other extra.

But what a nice sound, and loud, and cheap. And yes, Troxell is the vender that I use. It might take some time to get the Fender because it’s on backorder from what I understand.

Frankly, I intend to check on this for myself because although I have a speaker & microphone, their luggable rather than portable!  HA!  I’m taking it today to a workshop…if only I had that small one.
