Marketing to Women
Posted on February 21st, 2008, by Meggin McIntosh
Information:
These are the notes that were sent to me from the tele seminar.
- Women are holistic shoppers; they see, hear and notice everything.
- Women are deep researchers – they want to find the right solution the first time
- Women want to know how your product and service with fit into their life
- Women like to sample before they buy
- Women are attracted to coupons and discounts
- Women don’t just want a transaction from you, they want an ongoing relationship with you. When they get this, they’re loyal and will tell others about you.
- Women want and expect quality and they want to be able to trust the business they’re buying from
- Women want to feel that there is a real person behind the business they’re buying from, even if it’s a “big business”
- Women are not only thinking about themselves when buying; they are concerned how this purchase will impact their family, their community and the causes they believe in
- Women enjoy female-only environments; they also like to connect with others in the same situation as they’re in.

We discussed this on the Tier 2 call today…and then some of this came through in tonight’s teleseminar, “What Would Cinderella Do?” I’ll get the link posted on the blog, but you’ve all been sent this, too. Be sure to listen (plus one of our members won the contest!…YAY, Linda!)
